JOB OPPORTUNITY: QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

We are currently expanding our Quality team and looking for a Quality Engineer to join our company.

Main Scope of the Position

You will assist in the maintenance and development of the Integrated Management System which includes quality, Food Safety & pharmaceutical requirements. A key focus of your role will be supporting the creation of GMP dossiers, validating production per European Pharmacopoeia, and assisting in obtaining Market Authorization and FSSC certification for our new facilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Certification Projects:
• Support the creation of the GMP dossier and assist in the validation of production processes according to European Pharmacopoeia standards.
• Actively participate in the project to obtain Market Authorization and FSSC certification for the new Air Separation Unit in Thessaloniki.
• Assist in maintaining ISO 9001, ISO/FSSC 22000, and ISO 13485 certifications.
  
  
• Documentation & Procedures:
• Draft, review, and update quality procedures, workflows, and manuals with strict attention to detail in both Greek and English.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Audit & Compliance Support:
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits (Quality, Food Safety, GMP, Customers).
• Monitor the implementation of Corrective Action Plans and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
  
  
• Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in root cause analysis for non-conformities and customer complaints.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and reduce waste.
  
  

Requirements (Knowledge - Skills - Abilities)

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  
  
• Experience:
• At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety Management Systems, or GMP environments.
• Previous experience with FSSC/ ISO 22000 (HACCP), or GMP is a plus.
• Languages: Excellent command of the English and Greek languages (written and verbal) is mandatory for drafting technical procedures and documentation.
